Redeem VitalSource Code

Instructions for redeeming VitalSource eBooks:

After purchasing your Vitalsource eBook through the MU Bookstore, you will receive an email from VitalSource with your redemption code. 

If you purchase your VitalSource eBook in-store, your VitalSource redemption code will be printed on your receipt.  

To redeem a VitalSource code, log into your VitalSource account (or create one) and navigate to the "Redeem Code" option. Enter your code and follow the on-screen instructions. The book will then be added to your library. 

Detailed Steps:

1. Access VitalSource at https://online.vitalsource.com . 

2. Log In or Create Account: Sign in with your email and password, or create a new account if you don't have one. 

3. Navigate to Redeem Code:
• Web: Look for "Redeem Code" top of page or in left menu.
• Mobile App: Look for "Redeem Codes" or a similar option within the app's menu. 

4. Enter the Code: Copy and paste your redemption code (or type it in carefully) into the provided field. 

5. Redeem: Click the "Redeem" or "Activate" button. 

6. Check Library: Your new book should now appear in your Bookshelf library. 

7. Access eResources (if applicable): If your code is associated with an eResource, you may be prompted to enter an eResource access code after redeeming the main code. 

Important Notes:

• Use the correct email:

Make sure you use the email address you used when you purchased the code. 

• Publisher Access Codes:

If your code is longer than 20 characters or not alphanumeric, it may be a Publisher Access Code, which will be redeemed separately through the publisher's website. 

• eResource Access Codes:

If your book requires an eResource access code, you'll need to redeem that separately as well. 

• Checking for Updates:

If your library doesn't update immediately, you may need to refresh or update your app. 

After purchasing your Vitalsource eBook through the MU Bookstore's website, you will receive an email from VitalSource with your redemption code. 

If you purchase your VitalSource eBook in-store, your VitalSource redemption code will be printed on your receipt.  

Visit https://online.vitalsource.com .  Click Login.  If you don't already have a VitalSource account, click "Create Account."  Please use your Milligan email address when creating your VitalSource account. At the top of the webpage or in the left menu, click Redeem Access Code. Enter the code from your receipt, and the eBook will be added to your VitalSource Library.
